Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the NanoPack app (“the app”) and the nanopack.app website (“the site”), both provided by Digital Sandbox BV (“we”, “us”), a company registered in the Netherlands. By downloading, accessing or using NanoPack, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app or the site.

Licence to use NanoPack

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use NanoPack for your own personal, non-commercial packing. This licence does not transfer any ownership to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• copy, resell, rent or redistribute the app, the site or their content, except as these Terms allow;
• reverse-engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code, except where the law expressly permits it;
• use the app or site to break the law or infringe anyone’s rights; or
• interfere with, overload or attempt to disrupt the app, the site or their security.

The packing lists, guides and tools

NanoPack’s lists, guides and tools are general suggestions to help you pack. They are not official, legal, medical or travel advice. Requirements for visas, vaccinations and entry, airline baggage sizes and fees, and airport security rules change often and vary by country, airline and route. You are responsible for confirming the current requirements with the official source (the relevant government, airline or authority) before you travel. Where we can, we link to those sources, and we note the date our travel data was checked, but we cannot guarantee it is complete or current.

Purchases and Pro

NanoPack is free and complete to use. Pro is an optional one-time in-app purchase that unlocks additional features. All purchases are made through and processed by Apple under the terms of the App Store; we do not process payments. You can restore a previous Pro purchase on a device signed in with the same Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple in line with Apple’s policies. Prices may change for future purchases, but a one-time purchase you have already made is not affected.

App Store and Apple

If you download NanoPack from the Apple App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These Terms are between you and Digital Sandbox BV only, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them. Any app maintenance, support and warranty claims are our responsibility, not Apple’s.

Intellectual property

The app, the site, and their design, text, illustrations and diagrams are owned by Digital Sandbox BV and protected by intellectual property laws. The content you create in the app (your trips, lists and Kit) is yours.

Disclaimer of warranties

The app and site are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do our best to keep everything accurate, reliable and available, but we do not warrant that the content is error-free or that the app or site will be uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Sandbox BV is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for anything left behind, missed or affected as a result of relying on the app, the site or their content. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the date at the top, and your continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and contact
