Set up the widget
Keep your trip and packing progress one glance away, and check items off without opening the app.
Touch and hold an empty area of your Home Screen until the apps start to jiggle.
Tap the + button in the top corner of the screen.
Search for NanoPack and select it.
Swipe to choose a size, small, medium or a Lock Screen widget, then tap Add Widget.
Tap Done. Tap the widget any time to jump straight to your list.
For a Lock Screen widget, touch and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, then add NanoPack under the clock. On Apple Watch, add NanoPack as a complication from the watch face editor.
Frequently asked questions
Yes. The core app is free and genuinely complete: build tailored lists, reuse your Kit, and use it offline. Pro is an optional one-time purchase that unlocks extras like sync, and there are no ads and no subscription.
No. NanoPack has no sign-up and no login. Your lists live on your device, so you can start packing straight away.
Fully. Every list is stored on your device and works with no signal, on the plane or abroad. The internet is never required.
Tap New trip and answer a few quick questions, where you are going, how long, who is coming and what you will be doing. NanoPack builds a complete, tailored list, with the reason behind each item, that you can then check off and adjust.
The Kit is your reusable set of things you always bring, like your passport, charger and toiletry bag. Build it once and every new trip starts from it, so you are never packing from a blank page.
With Pro, your lists and Kit sync privately across your iPhone, iPad and Mac through your own iCloud account. There is no NanoPack server and no account, so the data stays yours.
Open Settings inside the app and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you bought Pro with, it will unlock again at no cost.
iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch. You can check items off from your Home Screen widget, the Dynamic Island and your Apple Watch.
Yes. There is no account, no tracking and no ads. Your lists stay on your device, and sync (if you turn it on with Pro) goes through your private iCloud, not through us. See our Privacy Policy for the detail.
